Rolling Over and Cars Crocs

Blake hit one of his milestones yesterday, he rolled from his stomach to his back! He seems to be well on his way to being just as active as his big brother. I'm pretty sure the two of them will certainly keep us in shape!

On Saturday, we went to a second hand kids store and Reece found a pair of Cars Crocs shoes with Lightning McQueen on them, so of course, we took them home. He prefers them as toy cars and "drives" them around making engine sounds. Well, yesterday we put them on his feet and he walked around taking huge steps while pausing to make his engine sound with each step.

Gymnastics again!

Saturday was our second gymnastics class! Reece liked it a little better, he still isn't too fond of the warm-up which is the hokey-pokey song. He likes just about everything else. Here are a few pictures of our class!

I signed Reece and I up for a parent toddler gymnastics class and our first class was today. My hope is that Reece will enjoy a little Mommy-Reece bonding time once a week for a few weeks. Since today was our first class, it took Reece a little while to warm up to the class, but once he was comfortable, he was nearly impossible to contain! He hopped around and crawled through things, balanced on the balance beam and swung like a monkey on the bar! After class, Daddy and Blake joined us for lunch. It was just Reece and I this time so we didn't get any pictures, next class we'll have Daddy come along and get a few shots! I think we're both looking forward to next Saturday!

A few weeks ago, we got Reece his first soccer ball. He's figured out the kicking part (which he only does with his left foot, just like Maw Maw!), but he also likes to pick it up. So, yesterday we were enjoying the gorgeous weather outside and playing with it, I tossed it to him and he caught it! We actually played a little toss and catch for a while. And I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with my little future athlete!
